A look inside – the four stops during your donation

Friday February 12th, 2016

Welcome to Canadian Plasma Resources.

You might be interested in donating because you recognize it is a valuable way of helping others. You know you could contribute to life-saving and live-changing treatments for tens of thousands of Canadians.

But it’s understandable you might feel hesitant to schedule a donation when you aren’t sure what to expect.

We want all our donors to be comfortable. Knowing the process involved and where it will take place should help alleviate any apprehension you might have about the process.

First, we invite you to review who we can accept as donors.

Second, we suggest learning about the screening we do with those interested in donating.

Third, take some time to familiarize yourself with the donation process. You can see inside our facility with this Facebook tour of the rooms you’ll visit.

Fourth, read through our frequently asked questions. You want to know you will be safe. You might want to explore our point of view on the conversation in this country about paid plasma donation. The answers to your questions are likely there.

Fifth, we know your time is valuable. We don’t take for granted you are offering not just plasma, but a significant part of your day to help others. We would like to show you our appreciation of your contribution.

Finally, know that our staff want you to have all the answers you need to make an informed choice to donate. There is no pressure to commit to donating until you feel satisfied your concerns and questions have been put to rest.

Thank you for your interest. Please feel free to visit, call or schedule your opportunity to donate.
