We are new to the city, so first, thank you for welcoming us to your community.
We officially launched our facility at 1222 Quebec Avenue in Saskatoon in mid-February. The launch was the culmination of years of effort to open a new state-of-the-art plasma collection facility in Canada.
This website is a way for us to introduce ourselves. Being new, we know there are likely many who have questions about who we are and what we do.
We collect quality plasma from healthy donors. That plasma is used for further manufacturing into life-saving and life-changing therapies to treat a variety of health conditions.
We know these donors are healthy because of our four-layer screening process, which is regulated by Health Canada. This process is how we qualify our donors.
It is also how we help ensure Canada has access to the plasma therapies it needs. Right now, Canada is dependent on the United States for plasma products. That dependency means if there was a worldwide shortage, the health and quality of life of many Canadian patients would be jeopardized.
At Canadian Plasma Resources, we have a vision for the future of the plasma industry in Canada.
You can help. Your plasma donations will help save lives and improve the integrity of Canada’s healthcare system.
